We offer an indoor environment for learning to initially fly RC helicopters and for practicing with them - and without the worries of the variable outdoor elements. There are several strong benefits to having a stagnant and unobstructed area for developing your flight techniques, and in that sort of controlled environment you will quickly develop the necessary levels of skill and experience.

We make a continuous effort to match our customers with a helicopter that will be the proper one for what we estimate are their current abilities. When you purchase a new helicopter from Micro RC Zone, we also offer you an initial free lesson in our indoor flight area to get you started off properly (additional lessons and/or practice sessions are available at a reasonable hourly rates). We've had an extremely high level of success by following this training regime - it has proven itself repeatedly across our customer base - for both that initial first step into RC helicopters, or later on when it's time to step up to a more complex machine! Let's face the facts: if you damage your helicopter in the first few minutes of your flight career, you will certainly not have learned anything........and more then likely, you've become extremely frustrated. Then, because of that bad experience, you might be inclined to give up on one of the most challenging and enjoyable of the R/C hobbies. RC Helicopters are not impossible machines to master, but they are definitely not a simple stroll in the park either (that's why the RC helicopter hobby so challenging, interesting and continuously rewarding). The number one reason for folks giving up on R/C helicopters is when they attempt to advance too quickly to the higher performance outdoor types of helicopters. I strongly recommend that you do not attempt this..........it is an overly ambitious effort that almost never ends well! Stop in at Micro RC Zone and let's talk about helicopters. For training, we not only offer the indoor instruction and practice area adjacent to our sales and service shop, but we also offer (and strongly recommend) the Real Flight Simulator program for your home computer. It is an enormously fun and cost effective way to get your RC airplane and helicopter skills honed to a sharp edge.
